Here at Albert’s Finest we have been hard at work developing our new specialty flavor Mellow Mutt. This cookie was inspired by all of the other snacks and treats that line the shelves at big box pet stores that are marketed as healthy. After much comparison of the ingredients lists we found there was a sad common factor between almost all of the dog treats, SUGAR.
Could this be a factor in the increasing number of occurrences of hyperactivity and diabetes in dogs? All of the organic and mostly organic dog cookies from Albert’s Finest are already free of all types of sweeteners and sugar, but with the addition of the Mellow Mutt dog cookie we have affirmed our stance against doggie hyperactivity. The Mellow Mutt dog cookie was formulated with a blend of chamomile and banana to help sooth your dogs nerves and just plain mellow out.
