Oh no! Your dog just ate a oxygen absorber. Now what do you do?
All of us have seen them. Those tiny little packets that have “DO NOT EAT” plastered all over them. Why does it say that? What happens if you do eat it? What if your dog eats it? Is it poisonous?

Oxygen absorbers are actually non toxic and not poisonous to dogs or people. The reason they print do not eat on them is ensure no one mistakenly thinks it is some sort of topping for the food it is packaged with. If your dog accidentally eats a oxygen absorber he should be perfectly fine.
Even knowing this if Albert ate an oxygen absorber I would STILL take him to the vet just to be sure. You can never be too sure when your best friends life is in harms way.
