Albert Playing at Forsberg Iron Spring Park

Albert always gets so excited when he knows we are going to Forsberg Iron Spring Dog Park. As soon as we let him off of the leash he just bolts off into the far reaches of the park to find “the Perfect ball.” As soon as he finds it he won’t let it out of his sight. The only time he will let go of the ball is if we tell him to give it up so we can throw it for him.

Albert and the Spring Blizzard

Albert runs outside and starts gobbling up snow like it is going out of style, out on the deck. Whenever it snows Albert loves going outside and playing in the snow.

Albert at Washington Park, Denver, CO

Albert makes a visit to Washington Park in Denver, Colorado to share his cookies with the other dogs visiting the park.

Albert is a very smart dog and knows many tricks, but the trick that impresses most people is the “nose balance flip and catch.” How this works is I balance a cookie on Albert’s nose and he holds it ther until I say, “OK.” When I say the word he moves so fast that you cant really see where the treat goes. Today I decided to investigate this phenomenon a little further with my camera. It took a quite a few tries to get the right picture but in the end I was left with a few funny faces as seen in the slide show.
