This cookie was inspired by all of the other snacks and treats that line the shelves at big box pet stores that are marketed as healthy. After much comparison of the ingredients lists we found there was a sad common factor between almost all of the dog treats, SUGAR.

Could this be a factor in the increasing number of occurrences of hyperactivity and diabetes in dogs?
