Sources of Bad Breath:

1. Bad oral hygiene
2. Diet - or even eating something REALLY smelly.
3. Sugary foods – bacteria in the back of the throat feeds off the sugar.
4. Poor digestion in the stomach, constipation, or bowel disorders may create gas which exits the mouth. A lack of acid in the stomach causes poor digestion, so undigested food will pass into the intestines, rot and give off foul gas which rises up and causes bad breath.
5. Stress - surprisingly can negatively affect the digestive enzymes
6. Dehydration – will also throw off the digestive system

Bad breath can also be a sign of a serious medical condition like diabetes,  ulcers, acid reflux, hypoglycemia, kidney or liver problems to name a few.

These are such an amazing and athletic dogs. I wonder how you teach dogs to ride a skateboard like that, let alone control it and do tricks on ramps. Average people can’t do some of those tricks! Having four legs and a small body does have its advantages. These unbelievable dogs deserve some delicious gourmet dog cookies for their amazing performances. Albert has never tried skateboarding before but he is pretty fond of hiking and bouldering up mountains.

Albert is a very smart dog and knows many tricks, but the trick that impresses most people is the “nose balance flip and catch.” How this works is I balance a cookie on Albert’s nose and he holds it ther until I say, “OK.” When I say the word he moves so fast that you cant really see where the treat goes. Today I decided to investigate this phenomenon a little further with my camera. It took a quite a few tries to get the right picture but in the end I was left with a few funny faces as seen in the slide show.
